Josh Seguin is a virtuoso metal guitarist that graduated from Musician Institute’s GIT program. He is born of two musician parents, including mother Lisa Ruiz who sang for Marty Friedman’s first record ‘Aloha’ , and father Michel Seguin, a world-class hand drummer/percussionist.
Utilizing 9-string guitars, Josh plays in, writes, and produces for LA based extreme/groove metal act, PDP. He’s also helped legendary master sitarist Rishabh Seen pioneer a new genre, fusing progressive metal with Indian classical music in their eclectic instrumental band, Mute the Saint.
His live setup includes the 011 Cali-Dual for rhythm tone, the 005 Fifty-Fifty three for leads, and the Radar for all impulse responses.
When josh isn’t touring, he is educating, doing session guitar work, and mixing/producing personal works and other artists from his home studio, Pine Moth Studio.
