Marek ‘Ashok’ Smerda

Marek ‘Ashok’ Smerda has been the guitarist for Cradle of Filth since early 2014 when he received the invitation to do the European Tour.

Thenceforward he stayed in, having toured all around the world with the band while simultaneously having put his hand and heart to the plough to cooperate with other Cradle of Filth members on both ′Hammer of the Witches′ and the new ′Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness of Decay′. Both albums were criticaly acclaimed by journalists and fans and quickly became milestones.

For the last 20 years, Ashok gained a lot of experience both in studio sessions and live performances with various bands(Root, Equirhodont, Inner Fear among others) and other musical projects which allowed him to absorb a lot of useful skills to be shared with you.
